• In 2011, he graduated from Riga Stradiņš University. He has completed a general surgery residency at the Riga Eastern Clinical University Hospital “Gaiļezers”.

• Has taken advanced laparoscopy and bariatric surgery courses in Romania (2017, 2018) and Estonian (2018), as well as thyroid gland operations in Hungary (2018).
• He has augmented his knowledge and presented reports regarding his scientific activity at world congresses in laparoscopy, bariatrics, emergency and bile duct surgery in South Korea, France, Finland, Netherlands, Romania, Germany, Croatia and Lithuania.
• From 2015 to 2018, he has taught assistant doctors in surgery at Riga Stradiņš University’s Red Cross College of Medicine. He consults on medical statistics.

• Operates at the “Health Centre Association” Surgery Clinic “AIWA Clinic” Day Hospital.
• Conducts various types of stomach operations laparoscopically: hernia plastic, gall bladder operations, growth redivision, stomach reduction operations (bariatric), etc.
• He conducts various types of soft tissue operations: growth excision, treatment of septic processes, inguinal nail cutting, and surgical treatment of minor injuries.
• Consults in instances of gastrointestinal tract diseases, including rectal, gall bladder, hernias (groin, post-operation, naval, diaphragm), bariatric surgery (weight reducing), gastroesophageal reflux disease patients.
• From 2016 to 2018, he worked at the Riga’s “Bikur Holim” Hospital (from 2017 to 2018, he was Head of the Surgery Department).
• From 2011 to 2018, he worked at the Riga Eastern Clinical University Hospital “Gaiļezers” in the Emergency Medical Assistance Admissions Client, providing emergency and urgent operational assistance.
• He has studied the performance of minimally invasive manipulations in ultrasound control (biopsy, drainage) and evaluation of stomach pathologies.
• He has worked at Jūrmala Hospital’s Emergency Admissions Clinic providing trauma care and operational assistance in stomach pathology cases.
